NewBuffaloBrewing Part-Time Sales Position:
First Round Interviews held on Saturday the 27th September inSaratoga Springs during and after Saratoga Oktoberfest!
NEW YORK ALBANY REGIONAL PART TIME SALES POSITION:
The New Buffalo Brewing Co. is searching for another brewery sales representative based in Albany Region who will cover the Capital Regional Markets. The focus of this position is to increase New Buffalo’s sales by building strong relationships with key accounts and to promote and foster brand loyalty and development through marketing events for the beer drinking public.
Primary Duties are representing New Buffalo Brewing at various beer festivals and events thought the greater capital region. Events will include things like the Craft New York Beer Fest and other large tasting events. Other smaller events such as tap take over in bars as well has tasting in retail stores like Price Chopper.
Other duties will include working closely with Olde Saratoga Brewing to insure inventory levels, proper handling of beer prior to shipment and other oversight tasks.
As sales grow in that region we indented to turn it into a full time position.
Requirements or preferred experience:
Sales experience in the adult beverage world is strongly preferred, but any sales and love of beer will do.
Collaborates well with others in the industry – On/Off Premise as well as our distributor partners.
Brewery Education – Who is New Buffalo and what we do.
Explain the long-term growth and profit potential of the craft beer industry, specifically New Buffalo.
Disseminate information to accounts about upcoming beer launches, seasonal releases, brewery initiatives, Point-of-Sale, etc.
Manage time and priorities in an effective and efficient manner.
Be familiar and willing to learn with draft system dynamics and have the ability to troubleshoot when necessary.
Act as the key conduit of information back to Headquarters we depend on accurate reporting. Reporting may include, but is not limited to, distributor market price lists and competitor pricing and materials, and opportunities to build the business.
Gain an intimate and working knowledge of each distributor partner’s organization, including an open relationship with all members of the management and sales teams.
Complete working knowledge of all distributor partner pricing, including different deal levels and special incentives.
Provide distributor partners with sales literature, technical assistance and sales training as needed.
Assist all distributor partners in promoting sales of the products, and helping build consumer acceptance of the products.
Establish an action plan prior to visiting market, utilizing sales reps, VIP information, and appropriate collateral/sales materials.
Manage distributor partner activity, including, but not limited to, program development and implementation, monthly and quarterly sales meetings, and promotional calendar development and execution.
Regularly planned account/market visits with distributor partner’s sales reps
Represent The New Buffalo Brewing Co. in the retail trade as the first point of contact for the brewery.
Establish regular contact and build relationships with key decision makers at Key Accounts, both on and off premise, in order to gain sales and distribution.
Work closely with each distributor’s sales reps in each market On and Off Premise.

This is a part time contract position that will turn into a full time position as sales allow. Pay is $10 per hour + travel expenses. You can expect ~8 hours a week to start. These will be Weekend and Night time events.
